This Privacy Policy explains which personal data is processed when you use the LovePin mobile app (“LovePin”, the “app”), for what purposes and on what legal grounds this data is used, with whom it is shared, how long it is retained, and what rights you have regarding your data.

LovePin is designed so that two people (a couple) who have given each other's consent can share their location, battery status and short notes only with each other. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

1. Data controller

Under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and, to the extent applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), the data controller is Samet Doğru, the developer of the LovePin app.

2. Data we process

We process the following data to provide the Service and understand its usage:

• Account information: The unique user identifier that Apple provides us during Sign in with Apple, and your name if you choose to share it. To be able to remove the Apple connection when you delete your account, the authorization information provided by Apple is securely stored.
• Profile information: Your display name, the character you choose, your optional profile photo, and your relationship start date if you provide it.
• Location information: While location sharing is on, your last location (latitude, longitude, accuracy and update time) and the approximate place name for that location. If you have granted “Always” permission, your location may also be updated while the app is closed.
• Location history (optional): Only if you give separate consent, the selected location points while you are moving.
• Important places and events: The name, location and radius of places you add together; your arrival and departure times at these places; low battery alerts.
• Device status: Battery percentage and charging status.
• Notes and statuses: The short messages you send to your partner and preset statuses.
• Notification information: The notification token belonging to your device and your notification preferences, so that notifications can be sent.
• Support requests: The full name, email address, subject and message you send through the “Contact us” form; so that we can respond, the app version, language and device model are added to them.
• Purchase information: Your LovePin Plus product, subscription status, expiration date and Apple transaction identifiers. These records are verified with Apple and stored on our server so that your paired partner can also use Plus. RevenueCat receives purchase and subscription records, including renewal, trial and refund information, together with a pseudonymous LovePin account ID for subscription reporting and revenue analysis. We can associate that ID with your LovePin account. Your partner sees only whether Plus is active. Apple processes payments; we do not receive your payment card or bank details.
• Information kept on your device: Your onboarding answers and widget preferences are stored on your device. Your language preference is stored locally, and the selected language code is also sent to Firebase Analytics for usage reporting. Your relationship start date, if provided, is part of your profile and can be restored when you sign in again.
